Thrive Against Cancer is committed to protecting your personal information and making every effort to ensure that your personal information is processed in a fair, secure and transparent manner. This means that we are responsible for, and control the processing of, your personal information.
Everything we do is intended to raise awareness of cancer and support the wider cancer community. We want you to receive the information you need, whether by visiting our website, receiving emails, post or phone calls, during an awareness session, as a volunteer/fundraiser or when making a donation.

When you interact with us directly

This could be when you ask us about our activities, register with us for an awareness/ education session, make a donation to us, ask us a question about germ cell cancer, purchase something, apply for a volunteering opportunity or otherwise provide us with your personal information. It can also be when you phone us, visit our website, make a purchase, or contact us by post or in person.

We will only use this information where you have given us your express consent or otherwise clearly indicated this to us (for example, by submitting your story through our ‘Blog’ page).
Sharing your information
The personal information we collect about you will mainly be used by our staff and volunteers at Thrive Against Cancer in order to support you.
We will never sell or share your personal information with organisations so that they can contact you for marketing activities. Nor do we sell any information about your web browsing activity. However, we may share information with third parties working on our behalf: for example, financial providers assisting us with processing donations or Gift Aid.

We may need to disclose your information if required to do so by law.

Your information may be shared with us by third party organisations including fundraising sites such as Virgin Money Giving or Justgiving. Please read their privacy policies carefully to understand how they will process your information and what they share with us.
If we obtain your personal information from a third party, your rights under this policy are not affected and you are still able to exercise your rights contained within this policy.

The Robin Cancer Trust Privacy Policy may change, so please check it from time to time. Any change will take effect from the date the revised privacy policy is available on this website.
